UP's M-10005 'City of Denver' of 1936

After setting app. 18.000 rivets on the A- and B-unit, I finally decided on the drive-line system: one battery pack with one controller for each truck, connected in master-slave set-up

And I started painting the A-unit...too late in the year (too cold and usually raining, not the best preconditions for painting outside).

Current status (to-do's: some touch-ups, the red lines between brown and yellow, logos on the badges and lettering)

The assembled A-unit, badges painted, the lower red line has to be narrowed by 3/16". Lettering is missing, will paint the B-unit first.

This is truly impressive, both in sheer size and craftmanship.
