You did use powder for the rust, didn't you? It looks very good.

I used to imitate the paint and the rust : powder (pigment for oil, it's cheaper) and pastel chalk that I reduced with a sand paper.

Now the second unit :

It's the same as the number one except that it's for me.

Jean-Pierre Duval has done a superb work.

I have to finish it, paint it and weather it.

I can't believe I missed you previous completed model. You really outdid yourself with the subtle paint wear and rust. You rally have a good sense of observation for such details.

Best luck with the second plymouth. Will you paint it in similar fashion as the first one or try a different paint scheme?

I will try another paint scheme, perhaps with a worn, tired and faded yellow for the cab and black for the chassis.
