We are not indorsing any ads here. Someone could be referencing something they've seen in an ad which is OK as long as it's not presented as an ad in itself and it's related to what we do here. Like, "I found this neat little widget over at www.neatwidgets" or, "here's where I got that thingy that you've been asking about, www.thingystuff" These types of comments are welcome.
I've been searching around and have found links, but none to advertisements, other than spammers, which we have dispatched within minutes of their spamming us. ![]()

Maybe the problem is my computer. I'm seeing highlighted words in threads, including the one I just posted here, when I mouse over the highlighted word a pop up advertisement video shows up....the words on Reinhard's thread : remodel, completed, watch....they all pop up an ad when I mouse over them...

Something evidently is going nuts with my computer firewall. The highlighted words are popping up randomly on threads...some on my own replies....me thinks something is rotten in Dallas....
No problems noted on iPad...just PC...trying to get a screenshot to post ...

Glad to see this has the potential of a happy ending. I couldn't find anything with pop-up or hot linked ads, and I guess I know why....
I run Malwarebytes, Spybot Search and Distroy, CCleaner and do an AV scan at least once a week.

What makes me nervous is this is from my computer at the dive shop, and it's got pretty heavy duty firewall protection....or so I thought. It runs an almost daily scan , last one shows 12/26. We'll see....

Malware has been heavy lately. I took my laptop in for a cleaning & repair (overheating) and they mentioned a wave of malware activity. They put in your malware.org sotware for me.

There aren't that many people that run both anti-spyware/malware and anti virus programs.. ![]()

Like the window company guys that hired thugs to break windows.
