Well, since I live way down here in S.W. VA., it woulkd be more than a day trip, also, but I'll sure see if I can't come up with a way to work it in my "busy," (that's a joke, son,)schedule. Depends on if my beautiful wife has either of those weekends off. She gets a four day weekend every three weeks. Wed, Thurs, Fri, Sat, and Sun.
Thanks for the invite.
I only know what I know, and I don't understand very much of it, either.

So far it sounds good for the weekends mentioned. Jean and I were at Jim Thorpe last year with the Friends of the PA RR Museum. A nice interesting place, never been to steamtown. Have been to the Curve and museum at Altoona. Any of these would be fine but the last ones would be a little far for the NJ guys.

Any day I can run my O gauge trains or ride the full sized ones is a great day.

That is a bit of a trip from Michigan, but I will see if I can clear my schedule to make it. After all, there can't be too many things that should take priority over looking at trains!

I know my wife would enjoy it, particularly since we could then scoot down to the Baltimore area to see the grandkids.

June 5,6, and 7 are out for us. We will be camping with the Boy Scouts at Luarel Carvens near Uniontown, PA.

June 26, 27 is also out since we will be camping at Fort Mifflin with the Cub Scouts.

Just a passing thought; depending on the number of people going we might be able to get a group discount on wherever we go.
