Greetings, gang.
Cloudy and windy are the weather words for today. 38 with a high of 41. I got woke up about 3:30 this morning with a thunderstorm passing through. Again at 4:30. Rain's over for now but winds of 40+mph are predicted for later. So far I have about six tenths of an inch of rain.
Had a good day in Des Moines yesterday. Got the car fixed and got all the items except one on my shopping list. Not much planned for today. Late this afternoon I need to pick up a tux for grandson who is coming to the next town to the west of me for prom. Will be about an hour and a half of driving time. Oh, well. The things we do for family.
