When we had the "other" forum, blogs and comments were separate. I was thinking along those lines when I set up the blog here as a forum, but if you all want to post your comments in the thread, I can open it up for comments.

OK, you should now be able to post comments to anyone's blog, just like any other forum. Let me know if you can't since sometime we only think we changed a setting and it doesn't get changed at all. Nope

Hi guys,

Thanks for the comments. Don, I just went to look over my blog and see that my pictures don't show, just the photobucket links. I also see that the start a new thread option isn't there now. What's happenin'? Goldth By the way, I noticed the notation that the "BB code is OFF" when I edited my blog last time. Is that it?

Thanks!
Ralph

Let me look at the permissions again. I copied them from the parent forum, but apparently it wasn't good enough. I'll test it this time to be sure I did it right. Hang in there guys...

OK, try it now. It seems that I have to go to two places in order to set the permissions properly, even though I think I have them set in the first place that I change. I'll get the hang of this one of these days.... 357 357

Ralph, I just copied two of your links and posted then in your thread and it shows up. Could you go back and edit your posts and recopy your links and see what happens?

Sweet thanks Don for allowing us to post comments in blogs Misngth

Now the problem im facing, i want to start a blog but i dont want to basically have the same posts in 2 different threads, tomorrow i may do a blog for my roster, after im done, would it be possible to delete my entire old engine roster thread? This way, if i start a blog, all my locos will be listed one after another and it will be easier for everyone to see them cuz they will all be listed on the first 2 pages.... Would this be possible Don to delete my old thread after im done doing my blog?
