June 6, 1944- Operation Overlord.

Most of you won't remember that day, I do, I was 10 at the time. The largest invasion ever and it turned the tide for WWII, D-Day, the Normandy invasion. Please, take knee, say a prayer, ask God that we never have to do that again. Please don't ever forget the sacrifice that all those men made so that we have the freedoms we have today. I doubt that I would have made it to 11 had they not done what they did, that's just the way it was, they went "over there" so that the Nazis and Japs didn't come over here. I am eternally grateful and hope you are as well...
