Thank you Don. I have gotten a lot done in a short time. I just have to finish numbering SW9 #34 and then all but one locomotive is done.

Here they are completed. The three workhorses of the C&I for now until I can acquire more engines. In the second photo you will notice there is a fourth engine that is being worked on. This will be SW9 #36 once completed. I have to tinker with the motor a bit to get it to run, but once that is ready there will be four engines ready to roll.

Just catching up on your progress this morning.
Good work on the decal jobs. and the assembly of the fairmont speeder.
I see you did manage to find the MDC handcar. It is unfortunate that they tend to be so expensive on Ebay. I remember when they had a dozen of them on the pegboards in local hobby shops.

Thank you. The speeder was easy to put together. The hardest part was putting the number phone on it. The handcar is sitting off to the side waiting to be put together. Now I am sitting here waiting for the decals to dry on SW9 #36.

I did buy this one off of Ebay. It's a 1965 International R-190 flatbed truck that will be used in MOW service. I am looking into building a dump bed for it once it arrives and I see what all needs to be done.

Engine 36 is ready and waiting for the frame to arrive. I had an opps moment while I was working on the other calf engine. I ended up tripping over the dog when I was bringing the small part of the shell back in and ended up breaking it. So the rest of the shell became a donor for the cab I had painted for the conrail shell. I found a huge crack in the conrail shell so that is just sitting off to the side. 

So now that leaves me with

3 Powered Engines - Numbers 34, 36, 37

1 Powered Calf - Number 68

1 Unpowered Engine - Number 45

But like I said Engine 36 is ready and I even put the MDC handcart together, well almost all. I only need to put the hand pump on and it's ready for paint.

I received the truck in the mail today. Now to look it over and see what i have to do to make it into a dump truck. I can then get the cab painted, lettered and numbered.

The newest hopper completed with full decals. I even added the railroad herald to the one side of the bridge.

This makes for a total of 9 active hoppers now. Only about 91 more to go and that should do it lol. The layout I have in mind won't hold the 200+ hoppers that the railroad actually had.
