Wooden machine gun

Moving right along, I've finished step 7, which just about completes the gun and started step 8 which is the magazine. Now that I'm at that point I understand now about the ammo. It will shoot up to 12 rubber bands without reloading, and will eject wooden pegs as if they were the cartridge cases. Just thinking about it, shooting those pegs would be a bit dangerous, but my first clue came when I saw the barrel was two cross pieces and not a round tube. It doesn't matter, the joy in this is building it, if it actually works, that would be a bonus.
