I'm looking for second hand cars suitable to populate my Erie's Harlem Station layout. Era: late 40s-50s. If possible, I'd rather buy several cars from a same seller than cherry picking.

Type of cars: flatcars, gondolas, boxcars (steel and outside braced wood) & coal hoppers (all kind).

Manufacturers: anything except toy train brands.

Suitable roadnames: Erie, Pennsylvania, Lehigh Valley

Boxcars only: ATSF (Chief paintscheme), Norfolk & Western, MILW.

Last Thursday was a hurry up and wait day at work :wait: :wait: :wait: . Being right next to the former Lackawanna main ( now New Jersey Trainset ) , I was able to grab a few shots.

First caught this one on it's was back to Hoboken..
   
   

About an hour latter found this one stopped at a red signal.
   

The 300 mm zoom was put to the test to grab this set of MU cars heading west over the bridge.
   

A light power move probably going back to Hoboken terminal.
   

Have a GP38-2 waiting for a sound install on my benchwork.I always installed Tsunamis but looks Esu has awesome sounds and very good motor control. Also want to run trains in a consist.What is your preferred sound decoder?

ATLAS has announced that they will be producing code 55 flex track in Z scale.There are plans for some other Z stuff too but nothing is confirmed yet. I know one guy that is looking forward to it.

Our time is this house is counting down and I had a good thing started and then had to pull it out for house repairs. Bench work has been recycled a few times now. I would like to get reliable trackage done, ground cover and at least mock ups for structures.
