I wanted to start this tread to showcase pics and info on the Newark bay drawbridge, known on CNJ time tables as "DY". It connected Bayonne and Elizabeth NJ. I will mainly concentrate on the third incarnation of the bridge to occupy this space. It no longer stands today, but for most of it's life it was the largest RR bridge of it's type in the world. Four tracks wide and over a mile long (almost 2), with 4 sections that could be raised or lowered independently of each other. I have several Proto locomotives. They have begun to run very poorly. I turned one of them upside down for inspection. There was too much space between the gear on the axle and wheel allowing the bushing to move toward the center to far and come out of the notch it rides in. This results in a loose axle and loss of electric contact.. Has anyone else had this problem?

This is just an advance notice that we'll be celebrating Big Blue's first anniversary in less than six weeks. How are we planning on doing that? Well, we're going to have one big birthday party. Is anyone else having trouble with the pop up box with the message covering the link to the topic, and making the link useless.
This is the first I have had trouble with it. Frankly, it does nothing to enhance my experience on the gauge anyway, but til now wasn't a problem.
I thought it was only large messages, but I had a heck of a time starting this topic because the button popped up here too. Is their a way to disable this in IE7?

Train show at Midway Village and Museum,6799 Guilford Street, Rockford Il., Sat., 11/07/09 and Sun. 11/08/09, opens at noon. I'll be there with the modular group. I was out today to set up my three modules, hope to see some of you there.
