Re: UP's M-10005 'City of Denver' of 1936 - morten1996 - 11-19-2015 After setting app. 18.000 rivets on the A- and B-unit, I finally decided on the drive-line system: one battery pack with one controller for each truck, connected in master-slave set-up ![]() And I started painting the A-unit...too late in the year (too cold and usually raining, not the best preconditions for painting outside). Current status (to-do's: some touch-ups, the red lines between brown and yellow, logos on the badges and lettering) ![]() ![]() Regards Norman Re: UP's M-10005 'City of Denver' of 1936 - X 3829 - 11-20-2015 very well done!!! Re: UP's M-10005 'City of Denver' of 1936 - morten1996 - 12-17-2015 The assembled A-unit, badges painted, the lower red line has to be narrowed by 3/16". Lettering is missing, will paint the B-unit first. ![]() ![]() Regards Norman Re: UP's M-10005 'City of Denver' of 1936 - sailormatlac - 12-17-2015 This is truly impressive, both in sheer size and craftmanship. matt |
