Here is a just finished ( well not yet) lighting on a N scale caboose.
Still have a few bugs to work out.

Hey, how cool is that?
Looks really neat, what did you use to take the pictures?

Yes, I thought it turned out nice. Still some work to do. The Camera showed some light bleed which was not visible with your eye. I will have to paint the inside with black paint to keep that in check.
The camera used?? I will have to ask my friend who shot the video for me.
That type of thing is above my pay grade.

Cool
I like it. What did you use for the flashing EOT? That would be quite a task in HO, nevermind N. Good work.

That is really neat! Do the metal wheels pick up power or is it all battery powered?

The caboose has a Train Control Systems FL-4 inside for DCC control. Two LEDs for the red lights which are feed into fiber optic cables which then are lead to the exterior of the caboose. The interior light is a bulb. BTW I must dim a bit.
You can control the lights off and on. Also the FL-4 will let me change the way the light flash and so forth.
Glad that you like it.

Yes metal wheels are used for power pick up.
That was the real challenge on this project, I had to make my own. I have eight wheels that pick up the rail power for the decoder.
