Stumbled on this video by accident. It's from a clinic on using styrene plastic to build boilers from scratch. The author uses a similar method to what I use , except I normally use brass to do the same job. He does show a few useful tips and ideas here on working with styrene, it's worth a watch.

Bear, thanks for this addition.
Nice to read again about the progress how you built your fine camels and to see them running in your videos.
I love such innovative work of construction of new engine models - however I'm sure that I never wil build an own loco. So much the more I appreciate your work!

One day I'll have to try this just for fun.
Personally, I'd love a Reading Company G3 Pacific. It helps that they were run on the PRSL, which means they'd look good under both Reading and PRR catenary.
Gonna have to do a ton of research first though. I wonder if there are any plans for these out there.
