The Second Annual Banning Train Fest will take place on October 11 & 12 in Banning.
There will be a swap meet (see below), 11,000 square feet of modular layouts, vendors, displays, food booths, a children’s riding train and more. The two venues are the Banning Community Center and the Banning Schools Gymnasium. These are one block apart.
As a new feature, the Cajon Division/NMRA will conduct a two-day train meet as part of Train Fest. This will be open to the public at no additional charge over the $5.00 general admission, which is good for both days. The Cajon Division meet will feature model and prototype subject clinics, displays, a model contest, a Hobo auction and a “time saver” switching layout.
The swap meet will take place on Saturday (only).
Hours:
Set-up is 6:00 am – 7:30 am
Swap Meet is 8:00 am – 2:00 pm
Location:
North side of the Banning Schools Gymnasium, which is at the southeast corner of George Street and San Gorgonio Avenue.
Map Link: <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://tinyurl.com/klma79h">http://tinyurl.com/klma79h</a><!-- m -->
Sellers’ Cost:
Each 6-foot space is $10.00 and does not include tables, chairs, electrical cords, etc.
The maximum allowable table width is 3 feet.
Two “all venues” Train Fest wristbands are included with swap meet fees, a $10.00 value.
Advance reservations are strongly recommended and a Swap Meet Space Application is available on this link:

I am passing on this information for the Train Fest organizers so if you have questions, please contact Ed Ball at 951-237-9818. Please do not post questions on this website.

......HO analog Geep in FEC blue with the Hurricane logo, that is looking for a good home at a sensible price? - there seems to be a higher availability rate on hens teeth at the moment! Preferably in UK as I'm hoping to avoid the ridiculous trans-atlantic postage charges, and the Import charges (levied on both the item cost and the postage) by HMRC, and then the fee from Royal mail for collecting those charges! Any help will be gratefully recieved

I just had to jack up the volume on my headphones so I could hear that 567C in action.
