To those of you on my list, I periodically send out advertising and other artwork as my brother Steven creates it. Today, I sent out a new ad, but several of my e-mails were blocked and returned. Since e-mail notifications of PMs are currently not functioning, I'm asking for the following Members to send me an e-mail, to which I can reply with the new ad.

Thanks,

 Small Stamp Mill
Posted by: cnrglen - 02-13-2016, 07:25 PM - Forum: Scratchbuilding and kitbashing - All Scales - Replies (62)

I've decided that my next project will be a scratchbuilt small stamp mill from the book: Structure Plans Vol 1, Wood frame and stone structures. It's available on the Model RR hobbyist site.
I photocopied the plans so I can doodle and write on the pages. Even though it's called a small stamp mill, it's still 75 feet long so the published plans are half-size.

I've had to double them to make templates for all the walls. I've done the two front walls so far.

.
What is your favorite Train Youtube [video] Chanel for model and prototype ?

Personally for HO scale Model I like this one https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCuHUiw ... y4y8vEo7bA

For Protoytpe ( that I use for references) it is this one: http://https://www.youtube.com/channel/ ... 8eUc-V-igQ

 2016 Big Blue NASCAR Racin'
Posted by: ngauger - 02-13-2016, 10:33 AM - Forum: Forum Announcements - Replies (2)

For the 14th year..... Back again!!!!

Join in on the fun of having bragging rights for America's Favorite Motorsport: NASCAR Racing!!!

We are taking entrants here http://bigbluetrains.com/forum/viewtopi ... =29&t=8741 for the 2016 BBRL!

Come and join in and add a bit more excitement to every race!!
All you have to do is choose 3 drivers.

Rules:
This is how it works:
1. Pick three drivers for your team. There is no restrictions in the drivers, so someone else can have the same drivers as you do.
2. Post your picks here. Drivers have to be locked in February 19 at 12:00 Midnight.
3. You are allowed only three driver changes during the season. Say one of your drivers breaks his legs and is out the season, or he's not performing up to expectations, you can make a change. Two drivers changed at one time during the season equals two driver changes. And if you fire all three drivers, and pick three more. You are not allowed anymore driver changes. So choose wisely.
4. Points awarded per NASCAR point system through the whole season. None of that Chase crap. Point races only.
5. Positions determined by the position your drivers finished, with the total points of all three drivers.
6 Tie breaker goes to the person who's team has the most wins. If both teams have the same amount of wins, a two headed coin will be used. If that doesn't work, both team managers will duel with pistols at 10 paces. Ok...Just kidding..We'll use a real coin.

So visit the link above and reply with your interest in 3 drivers and join in on the fun!!

Note: Tony Stewart will miss the first few races with his back injury. Nope Eek Eek

 Ability to delete a post
Posted by: Charlie B - 02-11-2016, 01:12 PM - Forum: Forum Problems and Requests - Replies (6)

Sometimes I have posted an item that was incorrect or otherwise out of place. Could we have the ability to delete the complete post for a 24 hour period rather than show our stupidity to the group. Some times an edit does not give the poster enough control to remove the incorrect information. I know the old site let us delete posts for a long time, some forever. I know you can request a moderator to do it but by then my blunder is exposed to everyone and the illusion that I am perfect is shattered. Goldth
