After some time of trial and error and changes of layout designs between ho and n I saw a story in model railroader mag about an ho 4x8 featuring PC. Well I dusted off an old layout that had nothing on it and wanted to model something close to it. So I started this 3 days ago and dubbed it the Conrails Coal Creek Division, fictional or not im not sure but the name came from a small creek that im fixing to model on the layout. From the pics you see I have some work done I still need to buy more track and do the yard, engine/rip tracks and the top part of the mountain part. Stay tuned as I progress

Hi all!
I started a new project yesterday.
A Jordan 15 t Mack!
I looked at the previous builds of it on various foras, and it seemed to be difficult to get a good drive for it.
Unless you bit the bullet and ordered the Hollywood foundry drive.....
I saw that the wheelbase was 24.5 mm, and that jogged my memory. I remembered that I had a Tenshodo motor boogie with that wheelbase!

But! It wasn't going to fit, as it was too wide to fit in the narrow hoods....
Then I measured the motor, and saw that it would fit if I rotated it 90°.
I will show detail pics of the conversion.
The body was built with the only alterations that I changed the brake beams to fit the slightly larger wheels of the Tenshodo drive, and that I opened up the coupler pockets to fit a modified Sergent coupler.
I painted the body yellow, just because I like it....

I attempted to detail a couple of Atlas center partition cars, I got a lumber load off eBay and some silverish grey button thread to simulate cables from a craft store. It took me all day to complete and think they came out pretty good.

I have decided to try Ralph's idea with the cards for each loco I have or will get only with a little twist to this. I don't know if Ralph done this or not but heres my spin on it. As many of us have done have certain locos we like and tend to run more than others, so to help I have put these in card protectors so I may shuffle them. Ill first decide on how many locos I want or need, then shuffle cards face down and lets say I want 2 locos, there for I draw two cards. In the pic below it gives you an idea what it looks like. The card tells me what I need to knows and what it can be used for. Any questions or comment feel free

First , I've never been one to paint or carve or chalk things into other peoples property .....I just think it's a dumbass , disrespectful thing to do , but that's me .

What is the purpose of graffiti on rail cars ? I understand that in the hood of many cities it's a gang territorial thing .....like a dog marking it's territory .....but why railcars ? They move to other locations . I see modelers doing this too , but I won't on my layout .
